When I left Orlando this past Wednesday it was about 80 degrees and sunny...then when I landed in Stockholm Thursday morning it was 19 degrees and snowing like crazy! Even though it was freezing, I loved that it was snow on the ground and that I got to see my mom and dad! :)

Last time I saw my parents was this past March when they came to visit me in Orlando. This time it won't be any golf involved, but it will be great to spend some time with my family and friends.

The first thing I did when I came home was to have a piece of Swedish bread with some liver pate spread (leverpastej) and cucumber. Delicious! :) It's one of those Swedish things that I can't get in the States. Another one of those things, that probably sounds just as disgusting, is blood pudding (blodpudding) with lingonberry jam. It might not sound good, but those are the two things that I miss the most when I'm in the States.

I have to say that I have learned to adjust to the time change really well by now. The trick is to not sleep more than a short nap the first day and then make yourself stay up to normal bed time. I managed to stay up until 10pm and didn't wake up until 9.30am the next day. After that I was pretty much good to go! :)

This morning, my dad and I went and bought a Christmas tree and then tonight my brother and I went to our grandpa's house for dinner. It has been great to see the family these first couple of days. Tomorrow it's time to meet some of my friends!

I have a group of friends that I've known just about all my life and the six of us are going to this Swedish Christmas Market tomorrow, then I'm heading to another friend's place for dinner.

I'm freezing just about every time I go outside, but it's still great to be home and I'm so excited to be able to hang out with some of my childhood friends tomorrow! :)

(Don't get me wrong though...after these two weeks, I'll be excited to go back to sunny Florida, haha.)

If I don't get to write any more until Christmas, I want to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!
