About me

I am a happy and outgoing person who works very hard to reach my goals. I started playing golf at age 4 and I have dreamt about playing professionally ever since. When I was ten years old, I qualified for my first national tournament. I realized then, that my dream could come true.

My game improved and in 1999, I got the opportunity to play in my first international tournament in England. I have also played in events for the Swedish National Team. This includes events such as the European Championship in 2003, the Italian Open Championship, the Finnish Open Championship, and the French Open Championship.

In 2002, after I graduated from high school, I enrolled at Florida State University to play golf and pursue a college education. I played in every tournament with the team and we managed to go to the NCAA Regionals every year and to NCAA Nationals three out of four years. As a freshman, I shot 68 the last day of Regionals to help the team qualify for Nationals.

I graduated from Florida State in December of 2006, but my eligibility expired the semester prior to that. That allowed me to turn professional before the summer of 2006. I played on the tour below the European Tour, the Telia Tour (now named the Masters Tour). Even though I missed a few events in the beginning of the summer, I was ranked 2nd on the rankings when I left to come back to Florida.

During my four years at Florida State, I developed my golf tremendously. My goal before I moved to Florida was to improve my short game, and today that is one of the strongest parts of my game, along with my accuracy and the mental aspect of the game.

I joined the Duramed Future’s Tour in 2007 and life on tour have been a great experience for me. Now I believe that I both have the experience and the skills required to finish in the top 5 on the money list to get my LPGA Tour card for 2011! :)
